Hoffman Car Wash is proud to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to help reach its goal of raising $50,000 in their effort to conquer childhood cancer.
We’ll be sponsoring the annual head-shaving event at the Saratoga City Tavern (19 Caroline Street, Saratoga Springs, NY) on Saturday, March 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
At these events, individuals shave their heads to show solidarity with people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. It’s a visible way of encouraging loved ones to join you in supporting cancer research.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor-powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds the most promising cancer research just for kids. St. Baldrick’s is the top charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants in the U.S. and around the world. Each year, thousands of volunteers worldwide organize fundraisers, such as our signature head-shaving events, to raise money to support life-saving childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick’s events are the largest volunteer-powered fundraising opportunity benefiting pediatric cancer research. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation also advocates at the national level in the U.S. for increased federal funding for pediatric cancer research and more effective public policy to serve children with cancer.
In 2022, over $20,000,000 was raised at St. Baldrick’s events throughout the country.
